A popular line of minicomputers from | D | i | g | i | t | a | l | Equipment Corporation, produced from 1978 (or so) to 2000 (or so). The one at Drake was a 4000-600 with a whopping 256 megs of ram and 9 gigs of disk space (sweet, dear acad.drake.edu), running OpenVMS.
It is highly coveted by ThomasKula, who has left standing orders to be contacted whenever it is disposed of.
